Pomorie is a small town north of Burgas on the way to Sunny Beach sea resort. Like most Black Sea settlements, Pomorie has a lot to share about its history. The Historical Museum is situated in the renovated building of the former High School and displays various artefacts from prehistoric times till the Middle Ages. The exhibition is distributed in 3 rooms. Mammoth bones and tusks, an ancient coin with a ship, a Roman amphora and an ancient anchor are among the most attractive exhibits at the Museum.
