Little Inter

Malkia Inter (the little Interhotel) is a charming guesthouse in the center of Veliko Turnovo. It is located in an old city house, which once belonged to Atanas Burov, a famous Bulgarian banker and politician from the first half of the last century. Two outstanding Law offices used to dwell on the first floor which is nowadays occupied by the iconic Little Inter snack bar. Accommodation is concentrated on the upper floor. The old staircase has been preserved and very carefully varnished, thus the old authentic look of worn-out wood on handrails and spindles has been sustained.

There are 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms. They are all light and spacious, with comfortable beds, bright bed linen and good-size pillows. The rooms and bathrooms are decorated in different colors and there is a striking abundance of antique trinkets and decorations, such as gilded gypsum picture frames and brass chandeliers, overflowing old photographs and renovated furniture pieces. The place is definitely remarkable, vibrant and artistic and bears memorable ambience well suited for an elegant urban abode in the old capital city. Located on the corner of 2 streets, only 5 minutes from Tsarevets Hill, Malkia Inter offers easy access to the city's main sights and attractions and memorable encounters with the history of Veliko Tarnovo and Bulgaria.

The Malkia Inter snack bar is listed in the 100 National Pubs directory and is an iconic place and must visit in Veliko Tarnovo. Numerous antiques, artefacts and old time pieces decorate its walls and ceilings. The spirit of history and past times is in air.
