Ivan Asen restaurant brings you the experience of the Bulgarian medieval era in the comfort of contemporary style, making any visit to the restaurant a unique one.
One of few restaurants located near the Fortress of Tsarevets, this is the ideal location to watch the famous sound and light show that takes place at the fort every evening during the summer months. Book a table near a window to enjoy magnificent views of the building and the old town, while enjoying some delicious Bulgarian food and wine.
The menu includes a range of salads, chicken, pork, veal and lamb dishes as well as pizza.
Set across three levels, the restaurant has been decorated to replicate the medieval era of its namesake; Bulgarian ruler Ivan Assen II. Stained glass, an antique fountain and replicas of columns have been installed to create an authentic décor.
