Description

I was born in the small lovely town of Vidin, one of the wine regions in Bulgaria. Vineyards have always been considered a treasure and wine is a special drink in my family. Years later I joined the Economy University in Sofia, to become smart :), I studied tourism and I would love to show you the wine and cuisine from my home area, Northwest Bulgaria. Vidin region is famous for its red wine called Gamza, also known as Kadarka in other countries. Wine and Food tasting with a Local is an authentic experience in the center of Sofia. While traveling abroad, it is always fun to taste the local wine and food. This is a great chance to get to know Bulgarian drinks and cuisine. Bulgaria has had traditions in wine-making since ancient times, which goes back to the Thracian time and the God of wines Dionysius. I have pets - a cat and a budgerigar in the apartment where the wine tasting will take place.
