Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Sofia. From there, we'll embark on a comfortable ride to the Rila Mountains, where the Seven Rila Lakes await. These glacial lakes, situated between 2,100 and 2,500 meters above sea level, are renowned for their crystal-clear waters and stunning alpine scenery. Departure from Sofia at 8:00 a.m. . Travel in the direction of Sapareva Banya – Panichishte – h. Pionerska. Ascent by lift to h. Rila Lakes. Next is a transition /about 1.5 hours with a steep initial section of 30 minutes/ to the lake. Kidney. On the way, a beautiful panorama is revealed from high up towards the lakes. According to their possibilities, some of the participants stay for a rest at the Kidney. The rest climb to Lake Peak /1 hour/, from where you can see all seven lakes. On the way back to the lift station, you pass through the circus past Twins, Shamrock and Fish Lake. • Hut Rila lakes - lake Kidney (2282m) – 1.15 hours • Lake Kidney - Lake Okoto (2440m) – 0.55km – 30 min. • Lake Okoto - Ezeren vrah (2535m) - 0.60km – 30 min. • Lake Peak - Hut The 7 lakes (2196m) – 3km – 1.20 hours • Hut The 7 lakes - Hut Rila lakes - 1.80 km – 40 minutes Total: 8.45 km/4.15 hours. Return back to Sofia: 18:00 p.m. Total transfer time: 3-3,30hrs Walking time: 3,30-4 hrs (hiking time only; moderate difficulty) During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to hike around the lakes, taking in the breathtaking vistas and fresh mountain air.
