Hadjigergy House
Bulgaria
Zheravna is considered Bulgaria's largest architectural reserve where more than 200 wooden houses still carry the spirit of the old times. The beautiful surroundings offer great opportunities for walking, fishing, picnics, mushroom and herb picking and more.
Hadjigergy House (the house was named after its owner) is over 250 years old and is situated in one of the most attractive areas of the village, called Gorny Kray. A steep and narrow cobbled street takes you to the house, there is a place to park just outside. The house was renovated but the interior was preserved as much as possible. Even the furniture and the beds in particular are almost the same as 250 years ago. There are 6 rooms in total and they can sleep up to 15 guests. A small mehana next to the house serves delicious Bulgarian dishes.
Hadjigergy House management has two more houses in their care - The House with the Vine and Kenara - and can therefore assist for accommodating and entertaining bigger parties traveling together.
