Eastern Europe’s first water park, Aquapolis, offers a day of fun for the whole family to enjoy. This Mauritian style park is home to a whole host of water attractions, as well as climbing walls and shooting ranges to accommodate the non-water babies.
The park is situated in the northwest section of the Golden Sands tourist resort, deep within the surrounding forest and overlooking the sea in the distance. Inside, it is split into three zones – adult, child, and extreme, each of which feature a range of slides, pools, Jacuzzis, fountains and waterfalls.
The thrill seekers can brave the darkness in the “Black Hole” or even the “Kamikaze” – a drop slide that launches from 18 metres and can reach speeds of up to 60km/h! For those seeking a more peaceful experience, try drifting along in a rubber ring on the “Wild River”, or having a soak in the various Jacuzzis scattered around the park.
Aquapolis is open daily until 7pm and reduced prices are on offer if you arrive after 3pm.
