Description
The tour starts at 8:00 AM with hotel pickup in Sofia. You will drive approximately one hour to the Zlatna Panega River area, famous for the Glava Panega spring—a major karst spring feeding the Panega River, which is a tributary of the Iskar River. The spring creates two lakes: the upper and lower. Access to the spring is through a cave.
Next, you will visit the Ecotrail Iskar - Panega. Although the full trail is around 16 km, the tour covers only the initial kilometers. At the end of this section, there is an optional boat trip to continue along the trail.
The tour proceeds to Prohodna Cave, where you will take a short walk to explore the cave.
At the end of the day, you will be transported back to Sofia.
