Shtastlivetsa is one of the best restaurants in the old Bulgarian capital of Veliko Turnovo and a place definitely worth visiting. The interior is split in several areas, there is a nice terrace perfect in the summer, a small room with a gorgeous view of the Yantra River and a beautiful French-style salon that sends you back to the 19th century. The restaurant is located in the main street of Veliko Tarnovo and is widely visited, therefore it is hard to miss. There is an extensive menu featuring the best of the local and international cuisines. Staff is professional and can help with your choice. An impressive list of local and imported wines compliments the food served. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. It is ideal for both romantic evenings and for family dinners with children.
