One of the many stylish hangouts in Sofia’s city centre, Motto is a restaurant/bar offering international food in a chill-out venue. The pop art paintings on the walls and jazzy background music make it an extremely trendy place to dine.

Outside is a pleasant garden, complete with wooden furniture, sun umbrellas and leafy overhangs. It’s a particularly charming spot during the summer and serves as a fantastic escape from the busy city centre.

The venue is also a popular drinking spot and offers a whole range of cocktails, shots and long drinks. This can make it very busy in the evenings, especially on Fridays during happy hour (10pm – midnight) or when the venue hosts DJ sets. If you’re after a more peaceful meal then visit at lunchtime instead.
