Dayana is a popular fast growing chain of traditional restaurants in Plovdiv. Dayana-1 is the first restaurant in the chain; it is centrally located behind Plovdiv Radio building. Enjoy the soothing warmth of the fireplace in winter and savor the cool comfort of the spacious outside garden in the summer. Dayana offers ample space ideal for bigger groups and events. The extensive menu features a wide selection of soups, meats and salads, dishes inspired by the local tradition. The wine list, too, takes some time to read, though the house red and white are a good value for money. The décor is marked by the presence of traditional red tablecloths, Troyan pottery, dark wood and timber, few coarse statues, ponds and murals. The music played is mostly folk and pop-folk.
