Like most Irish pubs in Bulgaria City Pub in Veliko Turnovo is clean and sophisticated, with plenty of shiny referrals and memorabilia decorating the walls. The leading theme is music rather than sport, rock music in particular, though there are big TV screens with sport on especially during World and European championships and tournaments. The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and delicious, the beer is good, and so is the service. There is a free parking and WiFi, City Pub a perfect place to meet friends (more or less the Pub's motto), chill out with a beer and a snack and enjoy the 'craic'. There are 45 seats inside and almost as many outside in the street which is excellent in the summer. The pub is located in the center of Tarnovo, near the Tourist Info Center and is a convenient place to stop at and (re)charge before, during and after the sightseeing, shopping or whatever tour of the city you have undertaken.
