To start with, it is a delightful social experience and an excellent opportunity to meet new people, to socialize and be looked after. The places visited are popular with the locals, safe and carefully chosen, each with own story and ambience, in locations, which are hard if not impossible to find if you are new in town. The guides (at least 2) are friendly and helpful, without being pushy or patronizing. They carefully keep up the pace and mood, they tell stories and give information about the places you pass by and go to, and last but not least, they can always be relied on – you can find them at 9 pm every day (no exceptions!) in the Crystal park in front of the Stefan Stambolov monument. The pub crawl costs 20 leva which cover the visit of a fine selection of some colourful and iconic establishments and free drinks in many of them (of course you will be expected to buy a drink anyway).
