Description
Nestled among the rolling green slopes of the Rhodope Mountains, Devin is Bulgaria’s alpine spa capital — famous for its pristine mineral springs, clean mountain air, and curative climate. This nine-day program blends nature-based rejuvenation with local traditions, folklore, and culture. Guests will experience guided day trips to Yagodina Cave, Trigrad Gorge, and Shiroka Laka, with optional eco-trails, gentle hikes, and folklore evenings.
Day 1 — Arrival Sofia → Transfer to Devin
Meet & assist at Sofia Airport or Plovdiv Airport. Private transfer to Devin (approx. 3–3.5 hrs). Welcome briefing and check-in at your 4★ spa hotel. Evening orientation walk through the town. Overnight Devin.
Day 2 — Wellness orientation & Introductory Spa Program
Morning spa orientation and wellness plan prepared by hotel specialists. Afternoon relaxation circuit (thermal mineral pool, sauna). Welcome dinner with regional Rhodope dishes.
Day 3 — Wellness Day & Eco Walk
Morning mineral pool and baths, thermal relaxation, and wellness activities. Light evening walk along Devin River Path and nearby eco-bridge.
Day 4 — Day Trip: Yagodina Cave & Trigrad Gorge
Full-day guided excursion: explore the spectacular Yagodina Cave with its crystal formations and underground halls. Continue to Trigrad Gorge — one of Bulgaria’s most dramatic canyons — and visit the legendary “Devil’s Throat Cave.” Lunch in a mountain lodge. Return to Devin.
Day 5 — Local Culture & Folklore: Shiroka Laka Village
Morning drive to Shiroka Laka — an architectural reserve known for its cobblestone streets and preserved Rhodope folklore. Enjoy a short folklore performance or museum visit. Return to Devin for afternoon spa relaxation.
Day 6 — Optional Eco Walk / Thermal Relaxation
Choice of guided mountain eco-walk to Struilitsa Eco Trail or optional spa program continuation. Afternoon free for swimming or mountain air relaxation.
Day 7 — Spa & Forest Wellness
Morning forest bathing or gentle breathing session outdoors. Afternoon spa treatments targeting relaxation, blood circulation, and joint mobility. Free evening.
Day 8 — Closing Consultation & Farewell Dinner
Relax at the hotel or explore Devin at your own pace. Farewell dinner featuring Rhodope specialties, optional bagpipe performance.
Day 9 — Departure
Breakfast, check-out, and transfer to Sofia or Plovdiv for departure. End of services.
