Description

Plovdiv has been always attractive - from the times of Philip II Macedonian until nowadays. The city captures us with it's own specific atmosphere - the Old Town rough cobble-stoned streets in a combination of the beautiful houses from the mid-ninetheenth century, the artistic environment together with the modern up-to-date energetic feeling. We'll visit the city starting with the Old Town and after spending about 1½ hours there we'll eventually get to the central pedestrian street, where together with the shops and the cafes we still will be seeing artefacts from the Roman heritage of the city. In the Old town we can visit and stop at a house-museum, the Roman Ancient Theatre, and in the modern central part the Jumaya Mosque and the Roman stadium will add to our impressions from the place
