Your day begins with an 8:00 AM pickup from your accommodation in Sofia. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive passing Rila Mountain, the highest mountain in the Balkans, en route to Vihren hut, the starting point for your hike.

The hike to Vihren peak takes approximately 3.5 hours roundtrip and includes passing three of the Banderishki Lakes. After returning to your vehicle, you will drive 15 minutes to Bansko ski resort, the largest ski area in Bulgaria.

In Bansko, enjoy a traditional Bulgarian lunch in the historic town center. Following lunch, take a 30-minute guided walking tour focused on the town’s Revival period architecture and its origins in the 18th century.

At approximately 4:30 PM, begin the return journey to Sofia, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
