The walk continues to the Saint Sophia Basilica, the Russian Church, National Theater, former Royal Palace, and the 4th-century round church of St. George—the oldest building in Sofia.
In the second half, see the Bulgarian Parliament, Presidency, and Council of Ministers buildings representing the city’s communist past. Taste Sofia’s mineral water springs near the former Central Bath.
The tour concludes at Sofia’s Square of Tolerance, featuring four different places of worship—Catholic, Orthodox, mosque, and synagogue—followed by the main pedestrian street, Vitosha Boulevard, ideal for lunch or further exploration.
