Travel 1.5 hours from Sofia by minivan or bus to Panichishte Resort, where you take a 30-minute chairlift to the hiking area. From there, explore the Seven Rila Lakes on a scenic hike revealing unique glacial lakes named for their shapes and characteristics. The hike covers about 2 hours each way, with around 1 hour free at the lakes to rest or enjoy lunch (bring your own food).
Options include transport only or transport plus access to a Smart Guide app for detailed navigation and information. This is a self-guided tour without a live guide. The total schedule involves transfers, chairlift rides, and approximately 5 hours of hiking and free time.
