Description

This tour departs from Sofia with hotel pick-up, followed by a scenic drive through the Balkan Mountains to Iskar Gorge near Karlukovo village. Upon arrival, take a 1.5-hour nature hike to explore Prohodna cave, known locally as the 'Eyes of God' due to its distinctive rock formations.

Next, you will visit Saeva dupka cave, Bulgaria’s largest cave passage. This site features five halls and 400 meters of corridors with impressive stalagmite formations. A local guide will provide insight during this visit.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to Glozhene Monastery, a 13th-century complex located on the northern slopes of the Stara Planina mountain. After enjoying the surroundings, return transportation will take you back to Sofia with drop-off at your accommodation.
