Enjoy aerial views of Sofia and the surrounding landscape from Vitosha Mountains. The starting point, Goli Peak, is approximately a 40-50 minute drive from Sofia, followed by a 15-minute walk to the launch site. The flight lasts between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions, and landing takes place in the meadows near Dragalevtsi.
Paragliding is a sport involving lightweight, foot-launched gliders with no rigid structure. The pilot sits suspended in a harness under a fabric wing that maintains its shape via suspension lines and aerodynamic forces. Although engine-free, flights can last up to two hours and cover tens of kilometers, with pilots often gaining altitude to several thousand meters.
