Description

The day starts with a 40-minute scenic transfer from your accommodation in Veliko Tarnovo to the launch point near Belinski Bridge, a historic structure built between 1865 and 1867 by Kolyu Ficheto. Upon arrival, your guide will provide a safety briefing and beginner-friendly kayaking instruction, suitable for all experience levels.

You will then kayak along the Yantra River, moving through calm pools and sections of gentle rapids. The route offers varying landscapes that change with the seasons—from spring's greenery to autumn's colorful foliage. Along the way, watch for local wildlife such as herons and explore unique natural features like ancient cliffs and hidden caves.
