Description
The trip departs at 9:00 from Plovdiv, with about one hour of travel along a scenic route to Hisarya. Upon arrival, you will take a guided walk through the town, known for its mineral springs since Roman times. Hisarya features nearly 4 km of well-preserved fortress walls, including the landmark Camels Gate.
Nearby are the Roman Baths of Hisarya, some of Bulgaria’s best-preserved ancient baths dating to the 2nd–3rd century AD. You can explore the ruins of large bathing halls, heated floors, and aqueduct systems, gaining insight into ancient Roman wellness traditions.
After the tour, spend approximately five hours at a modern mineral spa complex offering outdoor and indoor thermal pools set within landscaped gardens. The pools are suitable for relaxation year-round, with sun loungers and umbrellas typically included with entrance.
