Discover Bulgarian wine through a focused tasting experience in the center of Sofia. At BA.S.A.L.T., taste 6 fine wines selected from a wider collection of around 80 labels, with an emphasis on limited vintages, boutique producers, and rarer bottles. The tasting includes a mix of white and red wines and is designed for guests who want a deeper introduction to Bulgaria’s contemporary wine scene.
Your experience takes place at Tsar Asen 22, where wines are served in a setting that allows for a flexible and thoughtful tasting format. A key part of the BA.S.A.L.T. concept is that nearly every wine in the collection can be served in 30 ml tasting pours using Coravin, as well as by the glass at 125 ml or by the bottle. This approach opens the door to a wide range of combinations and gives the tasting a more exploratory feel.
During the tasting, you will sample 6 Bulgarian wines chosen to showcase quality, character, and regional variety. Expect a mix of white and red wines, with attention given to limited releases and smaller producers. Complimentary water is provided throughout the session to keep the tasting comfortable and balanced.
