DescriptionFor more than half a century, Bulgaria war a part of the community of socialist countries that included Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, East Germany, Cuba, Mongolia, Albania and also the allied republics of the former federations of the USSR and Yugoslavia. It was the time of the communist party. As a part of the communist ideology in the country from 1947 since 1989, Sofia unveiled a massive socialist construction and their local governing buildings representing the style of the Stalinist Empire. The new ideology is reflected in all spheres of culture, especially in art. View the communist architecture and public parks build in honor of the Soviet army, left untouched, and now a favorite place for rest for the citizens of capital. Visit the National Palace of Culture, one of the symbols of socialism of Bulgaria. It consist of a fragment of the Berlin Wall, a monument and a chapel.
