Description
The Bells Park is a monumental site in Sofia showcasing over 100 bells, each gifted by various countries and representing their unique histories. Officially recognized as the largest percussion monument in Europe, the park is also known as the Flag of Peace Bells Monument and is honored by UNESCO.
The collection includes historic bells such as one from Nepal dating back to the 11th century and another from a Latin American country linked to their local revolution. The Vatican donated a bell directly from the Pope. Each bell is displayed with its country’s flag and a brief history, allowing visitors to easily identify their origins.
