Maimunarnika

Maimunarnika is a popular entertainment venue located in Sofia's biggest park Borisova Garden. It functions only during the summer and attracts a diverse party audience mainly in their early 20s to mid 30s. The place is extremely austere and simple - a huge bar, a stage and some improvised seats scattered under the trees. When not dancing or cheering their favourite group performing, people usually sit on the curbs, on old tree trunks or simply on the ground. Maimunarnika boasts an intense live music program which favors diverse tastes and preferences. It is quite central and close to major public transport junctions such as Orlov Most (Eagles' Bridge) and Vasil Levski Stadium. It is open 24x7 and there are a few fast food joints nearby that make sure you don't have to go far to get a bite.
