Description

Day 1: Arrival in Sofia Meet your guide at Sofia Airport and transfer to your 4-star hotel. In the evening, enjoy a guided walk through downtown Sofia, visiting the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Sophia Basilica, and Vitosha Boulevard. Overnight in Sofia. Day 2: Sofia → Rila Monastery → Plovdiv Visit Rila Monastery, Bulgaria’s most famous spiritual center and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Rila Mountains and arrive in Plovdiv, Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city. Spend the evening exploring the artistic Kapana District. Overnight in Plovdiv. Day 3: Plovdiv City Tour & Wine Experience Take a guided walk through Plovdiv, visiting the Roman Amphitheatre, Old Town cobblestone streets, and Revival-era houses. In the afternoon, enjoy a wine tasting at a boutique Thracian Valley winery. Overnight in Plovdiv. Day 4: Plovdiv → Kazanlak (Valley of Roses & Thracian Tombs) → Veliko Tarnovo Visit the Kazanlak Thracian Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about Bulgaria’s famous rose oil tradition. Arrive in Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria, and enjoy evening views over Tsarevets Fortress. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo. Day 5: Veliko Tarnovo & Arbanasi Village Explore Tsarevets Fortress and Samovodska Charshia (craft street). In the afternoon, visit Arbanasi village, known for its beautifully preserved stone houses and churches. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo. Day 6: Veliko Tarnovo → Black Sea Coast (Nessebar) Drive to the Black Sea coast and visit Nessebar Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Byzantine churches and seaside charm.
