It is built entirely of 20,000 tons of stone, which was specially mined from the depths of Strandzha Mountain. The stone is marbleized limestone and is present everywhere – in the fence, the artificial lake, the walls and towers, the chapel and the cellar. It contains traces of microdiamonds and that is why the castle changes its color at different times of the day – in the morning it has a shade of pink, during the day it is white, and during the full moon it shines. What makes the Castle even more unique is that it was built in the shape of a cross – a sign of faith, love and dedication in its construction and development.

• The customer needs to exchange the GetYourGuide voucher for a ticket at the ticket office. The castle does not have its own transport, but is located at the beginning of the village of Ravadinovo, near the town of Sozopol. From the bus station in Sozopol, there are intercity buses and taxis that stop near the castle. Photography is allowed, but drone usage may be restricted. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Check weather conditions before your visit, as outdoor areas may be affected.
