Skandaloto is a beautiful 19th c. village near Apriltsi in the heart of Stara Planina mountain. The name (rage, anger) is believed to have come from the raging waterfall in the vicinity of the village. There are only a few dozen people living here but the place receives times more guests and visitors for the traditional annual village celebration on Sunday after St Archangel Michael's Day Church Holiday.

Skandaloto Guest House is a renovated old building from the Revival period. An effort has been made to preserve the original architectural design while modern amenities have been added. There are 8 rooms and 2 'apartments', a mehana, 2 delightful terraces and a cozy garden which can be converted in a sitting/dining area when warm.
