The house with the Vine is a very old house, dating back to pre-Revival times. It is located in the Gorny Kray area of the village where the most preserved old houses stand. The House with the Vine is a one-storey house, restored and modernized to offer the modern convenience. Nevertheless, most of the original wooden elements and furniture have stayed, therefore, we can nowadays see and appreciate beautiful authentic handmade doors, cupboards, ceilings and floors. The original fireplace was kept and restored too alongside the iconostas (kind of a home shrine with an icon).
The house offers 4 clean and comfortable rooms, furnished with old time style furniture and with private facilities. The mehana next to the house serves delicious local specialties while the porch and the big stone table under the vine make great outside sitting spots. There is space for 3 cars to park in the yard, a good advantage in a village with steep and narrow streets.
The house with the Vine management has two more houses in their care - Kenara and Hadjigergy House - and can therefore assist for accommodating and entertaining bigger parties traveling together.
