Hostel Mostel Sofia is part of the Hostel Mostel chain with hostels in Sofia, Veliko Turnovo and Plovdiv. The Sofia property is housed in an old building at one of the former big transport hubs, Macedonia Square. From here you can take a direct tram to the Central Railway Station or to the beautiful Vitosha mountain.
The old house that hosts Hostel Mostel is off the road, behind a wall and at the end of an old courtyard, which makes the location safe and quiet. It has been renovated and offers at present a nice spacious common area combining sitting room, reception and kitchen, a nice wooden staircase and a wooden veranda and mixed dorms with shared facilities. There is private accommodation too, just across the road, in an apartment block in a small side street. There are 4 private rooms in the apartment, all clean and well maintained, sharing facilities, kitchen and lounge.
Meals can be booked together with accommodation, Hostel Mostel serves hearty buffet breakfast and basic but filling pasta dinner. Staff is friendly, they all speak English and will readily assist with whatever you need. The hostel also provides high speed WiFi in the rooms, security access cards, safe luggage space and more.
