Located in the center of Burgas, only 5 minutes walk from the Central railway station and the Yug (South) Coach Station (from here you can take a bus or mini bus to Varna and the South Coast), Hostel Burgas offers decent accommodation at affordable prices. It occupies an apartment in an old quiet town house close to the emblematic Sea Garden and Burgas' pedestrian area. The management refers to the place as a 'pirates ship' and takes special pride in her 'bridge', a 20 sq m roof terrace, which reveals 360° panoramic view of the sea and the roofs of the houses and hotels around. 2 hammocks are at the guests' disposal while only 10 steps further down you will find the 'cabins' and the shared bathroom with a toilet.
Rooms at Hostel Burgas are called 'cabins' and there are 3 of them. The Sunny cabin has 5 beds (2 of them bunk beds) and a very pleasant balcony perfect for morning coffees and sunrise photography, afternoon refreshments and evening chillouts with a glass of wine and a view of the sunset over the roofs. The Party cabin sleeps 8 on 4 bunk beds, it's larger and cooler, there is a small window facing an old birch tree. The Private cabin sleeps 2, has 1 bunk bed and a tiny window in the ceiling.
10 more steps further down and you will step on the 'upper deck', the 50sq m communal space where guests can mingle and relax. There is a bookcase with interesting readings in several languages, a kitchen, old audio set, table and chairs and a real fireplace.
