Hikers Hostel in Veliko Turnovo is located in the Varosha district of the old Bulgarian capital, on top of a hill with cobbled streets. This is an old house with gorgeous views of the city and mountains. The city center is a short walk away and the Samovodska Charshia, the old marketplace which nowadays is one of the most picturesque parts of town, a center of traditional crafts, small shops, cafes and restaurants, quaint galleries, workshops and ateliers.

The price includes bed linen and towels, basic breakfast, WiFi, tea and coffee at any time. There is a kitchen which guests can use when they want to and a bar that sells beer. There is a two-level yard with a garden, a lovely place especially when warm and they take out tables and chairs to sit in the open. The communal room on the upper floor has a large terrace with stunning views of Tsarevets and the city.
The hostel staff is friendly and helpful, they can help you with the laundry, to rent a bike or book a tour and there is indeed a lot to do and see in Veliko Tarnovo and around. As is in the old part of town with its hills and winding narrow streets, Hikers Hostel may be difficult to find. Therefore, request the free pick-up service they provide.
